Community Support Specialist- Walker County, GA

What will I be doing?

  • Collaborate with Therapist, in order to help clients meet identified goals
  • Provide skills-based services to clients and families (i.e. coping skills education, skills training, etc.)
  • Help link clients and families to community resources

  • Ability to work independently and manage time well
  • Ability to collaborate with a team to accomplish goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field OR 2 or more years of related experience
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with using the internet and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to navigate online electronic medical record system (CareLogic)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to function as a member for a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency employees
