Position: Compensation Analyst/Total Rewards Analyst

Location: Yardley, PA

Hybrid: 2 days in the office

Visa: USC OR GC

Ideal candidates will have experience with: Executive Compensation structure and general compensation, merit analysis and administration. An analytical mind and have prior experience using compensation tools such as payscale.com, salary.com and/or Mclagan. Excellent communication skills. Able to present recommendations and offer proposals to exec leadership. Some experience with Benefits admin also a plus.

Candidates will have 2 rounds of interviews. First with the Total Rewards Manager, Lauren and then with the Director of Operations.

TOTAL REWARDS ANALYST

The Total Rewards Analyst plays an integral role in the implementation, communication, and administration of compensation programs such as merit and incentives. This position also aids in the administration and facilitation of the company’s benefit programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive analysis of compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provides recommendations for new hire salary offers, promotions, transfers, and other compensation actions
  • Performs market data analysis for new and existing jobs, participates in annual salary surveys, updates and maintains market pricing tool and tracking files
  • Reviews and prepares job descriptions, conducts job evaluations to determine the appropriate job title, salary grade, and position level, and conducts regular job classification audits (EEO, FLSA, etc.) to ensure accurate and compliant job classifications are maintained
  • Provides consultative guidance at all levels of the organization on compensation matters
    • Collaborates with HRBPs and business managers in maintaining organizational compensation structure and compensation related matters for their groups and business units
    • Creates and maintains compensation process documentation and tracking files to track all requested salary changes through the approval process
  • Administers and facilitates the company’s annual merit increase and bonus programs
  • Develops and maintains a library of benchmark positions in order to conduct a company-wide market analysis on a regular basis; analyzes salary structure to ensure midpoints, mid-to-mid differentials, and range spreads are competitive to attract and retain talent
  • Assists with annual open enrollment. Develops and implements presentations and benefits communications to educate employees on available programs, eligibility, and enrollment processes, ensuring maximum participation and understanding
  • Researches and resolves escalated benefit issues with brokers, carriers, and vendors
  • Administers and coordinates retirement plans
  • Audits and reviews Payroll benefit deductions and benefits invoices as needed
  • Collects, develops, reviews, and facilitates completion of annual benefits and compensation compliance requirements such as Summary Plan Descriptions, required filings, communications, testing and reporting
  • Develops and documents regular controls and practices to validate the accuracy and efficiency of processes
  • Assists in internal/external audit responses
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-4 years’ experience in Human Resources, demonstrating a strong knowledge of benefits and compensation
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and other Federal and State regulations (HIPAA certification a plus)
  • Excellent customer service skills – ability to counsel employees through difficult situations (death, retirement, disability)
  • Ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently while exercising proper judgment and decision making
  • Must have the ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Attentiveness to details and deadlines with ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
