Compliance Analyst

Title: Legal and Compliance Analyst

Firm: $40B+ private equity and hedge fund

Location: New York, New York (in the office 3 days a week)

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000 base plus year end bonus

Description:

• Key role in both the day-to-day administration of the firm’s compliance program and in the continuous effort to improve and adapt the compliance program in a rapidly changing regulatory environment
• Use of the latest RegTech to propose, build and execute on compliance processes to achieve scale
• Monitor and understand regulatory, compliance and legal developments affecting the firm
• Educate and train employees on compliance matters
• Assist in the performance of forensic testing for compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures, incorporating technology and analytics where appropriate
• Assist with regulatory filings in various jurisdictions globally
• Perform due diligence of firm research providers, consultants, and counterparties.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a compliance role
• Top analytical and communication skills
• An ability to think creatively about RegTech and processes to streamline workflow, enhance
• the employee compliance experience, and ensure maximum accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
