Compliance Manager

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our organization's compliance team. Roles And Responsibilities

• Compliance Program Development:
• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures based on regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to establish compliance goals and strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to our business operations.
• Ensure the organization's compliance with applicable regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, etc.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and provide guidance to ensure adherence across departments.
• Risk Management and Mitigation:
• Identify compliance risks and vulnerabilities through risk assessments and analysis.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified compliance issues.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures to senior management.
• Training and Awareness:
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to enhance awareness of regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters and best practices.
• Internal Investigations and Reporting:
• Conduct internal investigations of compliance issues, incidents, or breaches as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports on compliance activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
• Vendor and Third-Party Compliance:
• Evaluate and monitor compliance of vendors and third-party service providers with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, or a related field (advanced degree or certification such as CCEP, CCEP-I, or similar preferred).
• Proven experience in compliance management, regulatory affairs, or a related field, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and their application to business operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and project management skills.
