Summary : Combines direct experience working with seniors with skills in technology to provide computer instruction and supervision of all computer learning centers to ensure that a consistent, high quality and effective learning experience is provided to all senior’s students: ensures that all facilities are utilized to the greatest extent possible. Plans, organizes and coordinates all activities of the computer learning center including curriculum, in class-activities, program and development.

Knowledge, Skills And Requirements

  • Teaching a variety of computer classes to center members including but not limited to: Beginner, Intermediate, I-Pad, Surfing the Net, Excel.
  • Able to prepare lesson plans and teach individuals or groups.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technology
  • Able to multi-task and work independently with a great attention to detail
  • Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance


Salary Range: $32/hr to $35/hr; commensurate with experience

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills And Requirements

  • Two years teaching experience and the ability to design courses.
  • Must be proficient in Word, XL and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on treating clients with respect and dignity
  • Able to multi-task and work with groups with a great attention to detail.
