CONTENT SPECIALIST - AUSTIN, TX

Our client is looking for a Content Specialist to join their Digital Content Management team. You will be dealing with complex data (multiple languages, multiple geos, multiple platforms i.e., apps, desktop, chat), and support multiple segments and thousands of storefronts. The content in one segment might be deliberately different from other segments, so you should have the ability to organize the data within the tools. This position is hybrid onsite 3x week in Austin, TX - 2 days remote.


  • Depending on your strengths, you will be responsible for one, or a combination of the following:
  • Marketing Content: building out marketing landing pages, and content for the online store that displays worldwide, in 38 countries.
  • Product Content: Building out product data (setting up product data/information i.e., dimension settings, color, size, copy associated which might vary based on colors, and catalog information).


TOP SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with direct Content Management Systems (i.e., building content pages, setting products within the tools, verifying content in the tools and in the stage environment)
  • Experience with CMS Tools (building content within tool, managing data, marketing content, product content, etc. They are open to any tools as they have proprietary tools)
  • Experience with Customer facing eCommerce content (i.e., retail)


PLUS SKILLS:

  • Localization experience, or experience with Global Websites
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS (don’t need to have coding experience but should be able to understand. There might be some coding that they need to go in and plug information into)


EDUCATION: BA/BS Degree


BACKGROUND/INDUSTRY: eCommerce/Customer-Facing Content


DAY TO DAY:

  • Interact with other specialists on team.
  • Receive tasks – in radar ticketing system. Often will be responsible for tackling multiple requests at any given time.
  • Pick up tickets in que every day, decipher request, go into CMS tool, update marketing landing page, build new landing page, fixing issue on site reported by stakeholder.
  • Assigned projects – campaign going on for a month +, new product launch – working in CMS tool to help step up content in stage environment, set up content, communicate within team to let them know the status of the update.
  • Attend Daily stand-up meetings to provide progress updates and blockers.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams (i.e., engineering).
