What are we looking for in our Content Strategist ?

Content Strategist

Contract: Jul - Apr 2025

PR: 45-50/hr

Location: Culver City, CA

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Music leads to onboard DJs and Mix Suppliers, including troubleshooting of banking issues
  • Support the flow of mixes from DJs and Mix Suppliers to company, ensuring timely submission of content.
  • Work with Mix Suppliers to resolve recurrent issues with submissions and planning.
  • Advise music and marketing teams regarding release plans.
  • Provide timely support via Zendesk support channel.
  • Participate in testing of new features on the Music DJ Mixes platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years operations experience for a reputable label or distributor.
  • Passion for dance and electronic music. DJ experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with artists or management companies to explain programs, and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, phone and in person.
  • Knowledge of Zendesk is a plus
  • Knowledge of content management systems, and metadata specifications is a plus.
  • Results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed.
  • Able to juggle projects and repetitive, detail-oriented work.
  • Exhibit confidence in calling out issues and presenting to senior management on project status and schedules.
  • Experience with Excel, Numbers, Tableau and/or similar analytical applications is a plus.
