Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the implementation of Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing change program for Operational Excellence. Monitor, report and communicate the progress.
  2. Develop, implement and monitor the programs and projects management processes.
  3. Prioritize and implement key improvement opportunities through identification of waste, inefficiencies, key process failures and weaknesses through the Operations Value Chain.
  4. Provide active support in rational problem solving and performance improvement projects at all level of the organization.
  5. Identify, train and coach in lean concepts.
  6. Oversee a team of Kaizen Technicians and direct their work focused on driving quick frontline improvements.
  7. Coordinate the training program, train and coach local staff in order to develop on a long term base people’s competencies and organization capabilities on World Class Operations & Lean best practices
  8. 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, team work, focused improvement, rational problem solving, Asset Care, SMED, Quality at source, Value Stream Mapping, business process re-engineering and improvement).
  9. Actively create a culture in which Continuous Improvement becomes organizational values in order to create a competitive advantage.
  10. Provide active support to develop and maintain the key process documentation in order to translate the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge, you elaborate standard operating procedures and guidelines, share best practices.
  11. Understand basic concepts of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). Analyze the OEE and downtime data and translate this in useful reports for production and maintenance. Make Pareto analysis and define improvement project based on the downtime report.
  12. Identify opportunities for capital projects for process improvement and automation
  13. Resolving safety, environmental and ergonomics issues
  14. Troubleshooting and programming robots
  15. Process improvements and optimization
  16. Evaluation and implementation of employee suggestions
  17. Development and implementation of new processes
  18. Perform cost analyses and drive cost reductions
  19. Continuous Improvement initiatives
  20. Provide shop floor support and develop processes for new products
  21. Perform Capacity studies
  22. Other assignments as assigned by the supervisor



Qualifications:

  1. Education Level- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Engineering
  2. Years Of Experience- 2 years of relevant Engineering project experience
  3. Strong analytical skills
  4. Root cause analysis
  5. Ability to lead cross functional teams
  6. TPS highly preferred
  7. Six sigma Green belt certification is a plus
  8. Working knowledge of MRP (SAP a Plus) and Shop Floor Control systems (MES preferred)
