Responsibilities

  • Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing our service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met.
  • Help create the layout of electrical and mechanical control systems
  • Help program the automation process and modify existing programs
  • Ensure the company is using the most safe and productive system possible
  • Direct and manage employee training program to continuously upgrade skills and capabilities.
  • Oversees the timely completion and accuracy of work orders to assure necessary parts are received accurately, timely and in accordance with inventory controls.
  • Handling customer service complaints and concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and to ensure repeat customers.
  • Oversee the scheduling of our technicians for small to large projects with tactical skills to continuously adjust and adapt scheduling to changing needs.
  • Coordinate and manage weekly service meetings.
  • Interprets job orders, field service requests and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Maintains required stock of pumps, parts, fittings, pipe, and related material on the service truck.
  • Performs duties in a professional manner and works well with others or in a team setting.
  • Observes safe work practices and safety methods; performs other duties as assigned.
  • Work with GM and Finance Manager to forecast and report service financial information
  • Oversee the company's Safety Program.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Electrical Controls and Electric Motors. Knowledge of Pumps and Pump Systems a plus.
  • Experience with an electro-mechanical repair shop or electrical contractor.
  • Knowledgeable of the electro-mechanical industry and technology trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills in previous service or sales management roles.
  • Computer literacy and strong organizational skills
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with repairing mission critical systems under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
