As the Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing our organization's financial operations. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial planning.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Provide guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of financial processes.

Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure a smooth and timely completion.

Prepare and review tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management.

Prepare financial and management reports for senior management and other stakeholders.

Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices.

Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience, with 3 in a hospital setting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
