About the Team:

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations that drive brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. Brand Marketing sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

About the Role:

As a Copywriter, you will not only write words; you will also create stories that resonate with our audience and craft messages that empower and influence the very essence of our brand.

You'll be working alongside an inspiring team where your ideas and creativity will be nurtured. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to our mission of redefining the food industry.

Responsibilities:

50% Brand:

  • Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines that define our unique tone and messaging.
  • Create captivating and persuasive ad copy for our marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand experience across all channels.
  • Lead brand messaging guides and initiatives that influence marketing and UX/product copy.
  • Continuously refine and evolve our brand's narrative to stay relevant and resonate with our target audience.

50% CRM Copy Support:

  • Craft compelling copy for CRM initiatives, including email campaigns, newsletters, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with the CRM team to develop personalized and engaging messaging that drives customer loyalty and retention.
  • Optimize email and SMS funnels to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a copywriter with a portfolio that speaks volumes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills—meticulous attention to detail is your thing.
  • Brand development savvy with the ability to create and uphold brand voice guidelines.
  • CRM copywriting experience, including email and SMS campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills—deadlines are your best friends.
  • Creativity that knows no bounds and a knack for thinking outside the box.

Preferred Requirement:

  • An affinity for anything related to food and stories behind it, staying on top of industry trends.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, using metrics and insights to optimize copy performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you'll work seamlessly across teams.
  • Adaptability to evolving brand needs and a knack for pivoting messaging strategies

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$86,000 — $91,000 USD
