Data Entry Clerk

Equity Staffing has new Data Entry Clerk opportunities available with a reputable KC-based Health Insurance company who is eager to hire! This position is a great fit for candidates with strong MS Office skills in Excel/Word, data entry skills, high attention to detail!

$19 - $20/hr. based on experience and health insurance options available!

Duration: open ended, and long term/permanent consideration available!

Hybrid Work Schedule: Mon-Wed, remote, some work onsite between Thurs-Sun (40-50 hours/week based on workload)

Personal laptop/desktop, home wifi, monitors, and work space are required! Not provided by company.

Description:

- Accurately enters Preservice Review and notice of admissions into Facets software

- Follows appropriate procedures for checking member eligibility, request history and provider network participation status

- Communicates to providers either verbally on the phone or written, through fax communication to advise no review required for PA requests

- May Assist in preparing and submitting letters, reports or assignments as needed to meet department initiatives and/or objectives

- Retrieves VM messages and respond accordingly

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- HS Diploma or GED

- 2+ years of previous and recent Admin/Clerical experience in corporate environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Word and Excel

- Data Entry/Typing skills

- High attention to detail

- Ability to work well and stay on task in WFH environment
