We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in transferring data accurately and efficiently from various sources to our systems. This role offers the flexibility to work from home using your personal computer.
Responsibilities
Transfer data from paper formats, recorders, or scanners into computer databases, records, or files.
Enter data accurately into designated fields, including numerical data and creating spreadsheets as required.
Organize large spreadsheets and curate data directly from verbal recordings or interviews.
Update and maintain databases with new information and correct any inaccuracies promptly.
Ensure data security by adhering to backups and regular checks to safeguard data integrity.
Summarize data for standardized reports and handle confidential customer/client information with utmost discretion.
Verify data accuracy by cross-checking and comparing with source documents.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in data entry tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Prior experience in data entry or a related field is advantageous.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with data confidentiality principles and compliance.
