We are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. You will conduct full lifecycle activities from requirement analysis to reporting and insights, working with a close-knit engineering team while also interacting with of product stakeholders. **Essential functions:**
Design and develop frameworks using Java
Develop ETLs using Talend Integration Studio, SQL, Python and PHP
Create web based metric reports
Design and develop Star Schema with technologies like MySQL InnoDB and MariaDB ColumnStore
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar
Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages like Tableau, Splunk, databases like MySQL, MariaDB and RedShift and programming in Java, PHP and Python
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at database and Splunk queries, report writing and presenting your findings Message
