Database Administrator Assistant - Remote | WFH

We are currently looking for a remote Database Administrator Assistant/Helpdesk Tech to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Database Administrator Assistant, You Will

Support database managers to ensure databases are operational

Troubleshoot issues, pull reports, grant access, and write standard operating procedures

Assist with beta testing for multiple databases and handle internal helpdesk tasks

Provide software support in collaboration with our Software Engineers

Restore lost data or correct data input errors

Maintain a strong understanding of database security, backup/recovery procedures, and performance optimization

Monitor database systems continuously

Plan, design, configure, test, and modify the physical structure of databases

Ensure efficient and accurate data storage and retrieval

Knowledge Of

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Data input and database management

Customer service and Active Directory

SQL

Skill In

Using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication

Troubleshooting

Ability To

Read and understand chemical safety data sheets (SDS)

Communicate effectively with team members, management, coworkers, and clients

Work independently or collaboratively with various technical disciplines

Produce written reports, analyses, and other deliverables

Maintain professionalism under stress

Complete work on schedule and participate in reviews

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and coworkers

Be detail-oriented and self-motivated

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED

Experience as a Database Administrator

Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS)

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to obtain and maintain an "L" clearance
