Daco fire Equipment is currently looking for an EVT Service Technician for M- F Day shift at our Fort Worth location.
Requirements
Ability to diagnose and repair any issues with Fire apparatus and emergency vehicles Will train
CDL class B license or greater preferred.
Ability to work in and on a variety of environments and projects
Ability to perform a wide array of tasks (Welding, Fabrication, Electrical, ETC.)
Reliable transportation
Provide own tools
Experience in Cummins and Allison troubleshooting and diagnostic preferred but not required.
Job Description
Preform diagnostic, repairs, testing and make ready on Emergency response vehicles
Some travel is required
Able to lift 50ibs
Able to work at heights up to approximately 40’ on rare occasions
Maintain good customer relations while preforming excellent service to end user
Be responsible for completing work orders in detail
At times may have to work out in ever changing weather environments
Continue to update job knowledge and training
Will work with other employees and by oneself in order to complete job tasks
Will be expected to work and maintain a save and constructive environment
Expected to operate and keep company and customers vehicles safe, clean and well maintained
