Director Enterprise Applications

A leading and rapidly growing industrial services company is seeking a high-impact Enterprise Applications Manager/Director. We want individuals who strive for excellence, take pride in their work, and want to collaborate with like-minded professionals.

The Enterprise Applications Manager/Director will ensure their enterprise IT systems for Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Entry, Learning, and other corporate functions are operational and evolving.

Key systems include Ceridian Dayforce for Human Resources and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance. Responsibilities include developing IT enhancement roadmaps, supporting upgrades, assessing IT operations performance, and managing third-party partners. This role will also work with the head of IT infrastructure operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for employees.

You will oversee third-party application providers and service delivery partners for over 40 locations and more than 5,000 employees.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Highly organized, able to plan and monitor process improvements.
• Experience managing IT support partners and service desk models.
• Familiar with onshore, nearshore, and offshore support models.
• Skilled in supporting and prioritizing system enhancements.
• Experienced in managing system upgrades and testing.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Ceridian Dayforce HR & Payroll.
• Knowledge of business functions in HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, and Reporting.
• Experience in industries with union and non-union labor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
• A team player and leader who takes initiative, seeks continuous improvement, and can advise on enhancing system capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in designing and supporting enterprise applications.
• 5+ years with Dynamics for Finance and/or Dayforce.
• 10+ years in vendor management with systems integrators and IT support partners.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Multi-country support experience, preferably in Canada and the US.
• Ability to travel within the US and Canada as needed.
