To help keep up with this growth we are looking for a key leader for our global operations team to oversee our Distribution & Fulfillment Center in Idaho Falls.


What You'll Be Doing

The Director of Distribution is the leader of our Fulfillment facility in Idaho Falls, ID. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation including but not limited to order fulfillment, warehousing, logistics, transportation, facilities P&L, labor management, quality assurance, inventory accuracy, safety, maintenance and materials procurement. The Director of Distribution will work cross-functionally with business teams as they develop short- and long-term growth strategies. The Director of Distribution will also be responsible for additional projects to support the growth, efficiency, and development of the global network


Specifically you will:

As the Director of Distribution for Idaho Falls you will manage a team of managers & supervisors over two shifts (200+ Employees) that will manage all DC operations. Including, order fulfilment, inventory management, logistics, transportation and maintenance.

  • Overall site management with ultimate accountability for production, staffing, inventory, budgets, long-term planning, maintenance, supplies, security, and safety
  • Holistically oversee the success of the operation, maintaining cross-functional relationships with all key internal stakeholders within the building(s) and throughout the company to achieve planned positive results.
  • Guide, coach, develop management and support teams to establish a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect consistent with Melaleuca’s goal for inclusion and positive work environment
  • Establish and maintain a safe and secure work environment, working with Environmental, Health, and Safety team as necessary.
  • Ensure that Managers, Operations and Team Leaders responsibilities are driven to meet the daily business demands and productivity targets while maintaining highly engaged teams
  • Ensure accurate, expected quality, and on-time fulfillment within established SLAs for all customer orders
  • Proactively identify, lead and support process improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, quality, and cost for a healthy growth environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper inventory management and cycle count procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Provide reporting/scorecard/dashboards on daily, weekly, and monthly key performance metrics.
  • Manage external partnerships/agreement supporting the region
  • Responsible for safety of personnel. Provides a safe work environment for all associates. These responsibilities are elements along with zero accidents affect our Total Incident Rate---TIR, both accidents and TIR goal is zero.
  • Interview, train, develop, supervise, and provide disciplinary action for personnel.
  • Ensures All GMP regulations are followed
  • Ensures that all product deficiencies are corrected in order to maintain high quality standards.
  • Oversees that the facility, inside and out, is maintained in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
  • Ensures that any changes in company policies, procedures, etc. are communicated to the associates.
  • Help all associates to achieve personal and professional goals.
  • Maintain high moral.
  • Communicate all information pertaining to associates, processes, needs, etc. with VP of Operations
  • Ensures all safety procedures are adhered to by department personnel.
  • Manage processes and define process and performance improvements.



Requirements:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment or distribution center management
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding company standards and measurements
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
  • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed with the ability to work without close supervision
