The Opportunity - Director of Strategic Finance

The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform financial, strategic and operational decision-making across the company. The Director will drive company-wide financial planning and reporting, as well as support a broad set of initiatives spanning corporate strategy, investor relations, business operations, and beyond. A player-coach reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact, highly visible role critical in shaping Wrapbook’s long-term business strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the company-wide financial planning process, helping us chart the course strategically and make well informed capital allocation decisions
  • Own the financial modeling and forecasting process, with a focus on support strategic decision-making through deep analysis
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs to provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors
  • Through deep knowledge of the market and business, act as a trusted business partner throughout the organization and lead projects from idea generation through operational execution
  • Build and lead a high performing team responsible for ensuring Wrapbook continues to grow and scale efficiently

What You’ll Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience across investment banking / private equity and growth-stage tech startups
  • Proven track record of managing strategic, financial and operational planning processes
  • Driven self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building complex financial models
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your ability to influence and drive decision making
  • Experience generating insights from scratch, including sourcing, transforming, analyzing, and presenting complex financial and operational data in a simple, easily understandable way
  • Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments
