The Opportunity - Director of Strategic Finance
The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform financial, strategic and operational decision-making across the company. The Director will drive company-wide financial planning and reporting, as well as support a broad set of initiatives spanning corporate strategy, investor relations, business operations, and beyond. A player-coach reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact, highly visible role critical in shaping Wrapbook’s long-term business strategy.
What You’ll Do
Drive the company-wide financial planning process, helping us chart the course strategically and make well informed capital allocation decisions
Own the financial modeling and forecasting process, with a focus on support strategic decision-making through deep analysis
Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs to provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors
Through deep knowledge of the market and business, act as a trusted business partner throughout the organization and lead projects from idea generation through operational execution
Build and lead a high performing team responsible for ensuring Wrapbook continues to grow and scale efficiently
What You’ll Have
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience across investment banking / private equity and growth-stage tech startups
Proven track record of managing strategic, financial and operational planning processes
Driven self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building complex financial models
Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your ability to influence and drive decision making
Experience generating insights from scratch, including sourcing, transforming, analyzing, and presenting complex financial and operational data in a simple, easily understandable way
Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments
