Job Description

Nagarro, a dynamic and fast-paced tech services company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, seeks a dynamic Business Unit Leader to spearhead our Application Managed Services (AMS) division in the US region. The focus is on driving sales, developing strategic solutions, and leading thought leadership in the AMS domain.

The Business Leader for AMS will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and management of the AMS business unit with a focus on North America. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the AMS services, including growth, sales, sales support, solutions, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the AMS business unit that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, grooming them, and expanding the AMS portfolio. Evangelize existing offerings.
  • Sales Support: Drive compelling solution creation for large deals and defend it. Drive asset development for differentiated market positioning with focus on new areas like AI.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient service delivery, manage operational costs, and continuously improve processes to enhance client satisfaction and business profitability.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of AMS professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with key clients to understand their challenges and ensure the delivery of customized, high-quality AMS solutions.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies and offerings accordingly.

Outcomes Desired:

  • Winning large AMS deals: Drive solutioning and secure at least two multi-year deals annually in the U.S., each exceeding $5 million/year, with a targeted annual increment of 25% for new deal sizes. These leads could come from direct sales or existing engagements. Consistently achieve and exceed the target of securing multi-year, multi-million-dollar deals.
  • New business: Present AMS offerings to existing/new customers with no AMS offerings footprint from Nagarro. Add a minimum of six customers every year (existing or new logo).
  • Strengthening delivery capability: Strategically strengthen delivery capability in US and nearshore. Collaborate with Nagarro Industry BU verticals, Practices, and Centers of excellence to identify the needs and build accordingly.
  • Innovation and Asset Development: Pioneer the development of industry-leading assets that solidify our market position and enable efficient service delivery. Lead the creation of AMS assets, including accelerators and automations. Develop Points of View focusing on AI and modern frameworks to enhance our AMS offerings.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT services industry, with a focus on Application Managed Services.
  • Proven track record in leading a business unit or a large team within the technology services sector.
  • Strong understanding of AMS market dynamics, customer needs, and technology trends.
  • Proven experience of driving and defending large multi-year AMS deals with multi-geo delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster strong customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, computer science, or related field.
