Hire Resolve's client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Scientist in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities:
Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
Performs site visits, field observations and field data collection or assignments with minimal supervision
Experience in collecting data with a GPS and post processing data in ArcGIS Pro.
Evaluates complex field data, reports, maps, and drawings to plan and permit projects
Responsible for assisting in the development of written proposals to clients or agencies for projects
Participate in a team with other scientists on large or complex projects under the direction of senior staff
May serve as team member in meetings and communications with client or agencies pertaining to specific projects/tasks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related science field and a minimum of 4 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years' related experience
Master's degree preferred
Possess effective writing and communication skills.
