Starting Pay Range: Full-Time Exempt 

$55,000 (experience and training level may affect range)

Specialized Case Manager / Advocate: 

JOB POSTING

A specialized case manager/ advocate will provide supportive services within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive response to victimization allegations, participate in case review, and provide victim services support directly to victims and families of victims. A specialized case manager / advocate at Cherish must be passionate about helping people grow hope in the future. Our work culture is positive, professional, supportive, and team-oriented. 

Education: Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, education and/or related field with a minimum of 5 years related experience in child abuse or working with at-risk children. Experience in crisis and/or victim advocacy is highly preferred. Master's degree is preferred. Preference is made to individuals who are bilingual or have had past victim advocacy (with sexual abuse, domestic violence, or crisis intervention) but not required. 

Training: Cherish will provide all job-related training for specialized case management positions. Victim Advocacy, NOVA, or other case management training is preferred. 

General Requirements: Applicant must have excellent written, verbal, and computer skills; must be a self-starter; a positive and supportive co-worker; to reach and work with a wide diverse population; be able to respect the confidentiality of the work that is performed at Cherish Center; have good record-keeping skills; and able to multi-task to handle multiple various projects. Able to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality. The individual offered the position will be required to pass a full state and federal background check for employment with Cherish.
