Family Support Specialist (Part-Time)

This is a Part-Time Position

Position Requirements

Responsibilities include home visits with families, helping to set and meet goals related to child / family development, parenting and accessing community service. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position / organization.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
• Experience working in-home with families with infants and/or young children required
• 3 years experience working with families and children
• Knowledge of Healthy Families America model, child development and community resources is helpful.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance and have clean / clear driving record.
