MrBeast is on the hunt for a Field Recording Mixer, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality dialogue for our productions. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing the need for costly post-production fixes like Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) by delivering clean, high-fidelity recordings. What You'll Be Doing:
Work with our Audio lead in capturing all dialogue on set with optimal signal-to-noise ratio to provide clean recordings for post-production.
Set up sound equipment including wireless systems, microphones, and communication gear for seamless integration with camera and other departments.
Collaborate with the Camera Team to establish accurate time code to prevent interference during shooting as well as consideration for actor movements.
Ensure organized metadata for simplified post-production processing.
Conduct routine maintenance of equipment, perform frequency scans, and manage battery replacements to avoid technical issues.
Deliver recorded media to the Digital Imaging Technician for backup and distribution, while preparing detailed sound reports for post-production reference.

Familiarity with modern RF and recording systems, ideally with Wisycom and Sound Devices 8 Series.

Display technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing sound equipment to maintain operational efficiency on set.
