Your role and responsibilities

You will operate nationwide but will predominantly serve our customers in the northern Germany area. Your telework location should be in the northern German region, ideally in the area surrounding Hamburg. Our service technicians will need to travel and stay overnight within this extensive geographic area to support our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Working with the customer on-site to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points. â€
• Performing field service tasks, identifying and resolving technical issues, and initiating countermeasures through remote or on-site activity. â€
• Implementing commissioning, maintenance, and modernization projects, including planning and execution. â€
• Executing and monitoring agreed services and conducting root cause analysis in case of warranty issues. â€
• Preparing material lists and ensuring the availability and quality of all necessary materials, parts, and equipment. â€
• Independently managing and implementing smaller projects. â€
• Participating in on-call duty.
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• You are highly skilled and possess an enhanced knowledge in working with drive technology and the electronics market.
• You have first experience in the field of electronics or comparable sectors.
• You are passionate about analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in electronics or have a demonstrated track record in comparable qualifications.
• You are at ease communicating in fluent written and spoken German and good English.
• You hold current driver's licenses valid in Germany and any required country-specific VISA/work permit where required.
