Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

LHH is partnering with a growing public biopharma company to hire an FP&A Manager. This is a newly created position that will support all aspects of budgeting and FP&A. Great opportunity to support the build-out of the FP&A function, and partner closely with the business and C-suite. Target compensation is $150k-$180k, plus 15% bonus, and equity. Responsibilities:

• Serve as administrator for the FP&A planning system (Vena)

• Develop and maintain the forecast through cross-functional department partnering

• Conduct financial modeling and reporting for the long-term financial plan

• Serve as the subject matter expert in corporate financial tracking and reporting

• Lead quarterly financial review meetings, including departmental actual vs. budget/forecast reports

• Clinical trials financial planning

• Collaborate with Finance/Accounting team during month and quarter end close

• Participate in Audit Committee and Board of Director reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields; MBA a plus

• Minimum 10 years of relevant FP&A experience, with a focus on the biotech and life sciences industry

• Advanced Excel skills, experience and expertise with FP&A planning software platforms, Vena preferred

• Strong accounting skills and experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems

• Strong working knowledge of gross-to-net revenue recognition forecasting and accruals
