Head of Business Development - Battery Tech

Strativ is representing a pioneering start-up in the battery technology space. We are on the hunt for an exceptional Director of Business Development eager to steer a ground-breaking start-up through its next phase of growth.

This business has significant early stage funding, with solid runway and has already built solid relationships with several OEMS & battery manufacturers. They are looking to scale their team and grow the business.

As they solidify their leadership team, we are seeking an individual to fill their first commercial role, charting the course for their commercial strategy and spearheading transformative business development initiatives.

This role demands someone capable of overseeing and directing all commercial facets of the company. From crafting and executing the commercial strategy, solidifying existing relationships, building new ones, and overall shaping the company's trajectory.

The business has created the next-generation lithium batteries enabled by revolutionary electrolyte molecules. Higher energy density, lower cost & compatibility with existing manufacturing. They are US based and now is the time to join forces and make a substantial impact.

We're Seeking:

• New Business - someone to join and develop existing and new business relationships with OEMs, battery makers, collaborators & other partners
• Develop strategetic partnerships
• Support customer needs from R&D to pilot production and high-volume manufacturing
• Attend trade shows to present, network and market the business and technology
• Startup Savvy: Prior leadership exposure in the startup landscape.
• Strategic Mastery: A strategic thinker with impeccable analytical and negotiation skills.

You will need:

• Experience in the battery technology landscape, in a new business / sales / partnership role with proven track record of success
• Strong understanding of the battery ecosystem
• Understanding and network with automotive OEMs and battery supply chain
• Proven track record of raising capital to fund startup growth
