Head of Operations
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head of Operations with a background in project management to oversee diverse functions across multiple companies. The ideal candidate is a resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and can seamlessly switch between technical and business-focused tasks. This role is pivotal in freeing up the CEO's time to focus on strategic initiatives and technical development.
This is a Remote role that requires travel 25% of the time. Preference will be given to candidates who are based in Atlanta, GA and can attend occasional in-person meetings on an ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Technical Support:
- Conduct product and technical demos for prospective customers and partners, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
- Perform system administration tasks (account creation, password resets, etc.).
- Assist in identifying and staffing technical projects.
- Manage contractors and team members involved in projects.
- Plan and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address risks, and ensure timely completion within budget.
Business Development & Sales:
- Spearhead business development efforts, identifying and securing new customers.
- Lead sales cycles, from initial contact to deal closure.
- Assist in marketing campaigns, overseeing asset creation and execution.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions.
Operational Efficiency & Support:
- Collaborate with the CEO's assistant to manage schedules, plan travel, and execute tasks.
- Handle logistical matters during travel in conjunction with the CEO's assistant.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various processes.
- Utilize the latest technology to streamline operations and boost productivity.
- Identify and resolve issues and roadblocks proactively.
- Consolidate and communicate updates to CEO and other relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, ideally with exposure to technical projects.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance efficiency.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical and business domains.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management software.
Compensation:
This role offers a salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
