Salary: $75,000/Annual


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition plans and best practices for identifying qualified candidates.
  • Attend and participate in job fairs and recruitment events across all five boroughs.
  • Research and propose various recruitment methods and strategies based on the hiring needs of the organization.
  • Screen applications to ensure candidates considered by hiring managers meet the minimum qualifications.
  • Serve as the primary contact for management and ensure drug testing, criminal background checks, fingerprinting processes, reference checks, credential/education/employment verifications and other pre-employment screening required for applicable positions are conducted.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, prepare and distribute benefit plan materials, explain enrollment options, and facilitate and document preliminary new hire enrollment.
  • Collect and analyze data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive salary trends, and demand for candidates based on the job titles.
  • Serve as a liaison for carriers and third-party administrators for talent acquisition management programs/systems.
  • Research/identify trending issues to provide effective solutions and recommendations for enhancing data and process management.
  • Ensure updated and accurate electronic storage and management of employee personnel records.
  • Retrieve, sort, and deliver incoming mail & packages according to assigned team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment, talent outreach, job classification, or other related HR experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential candidates.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and intermediate skills with PowerPoint or other presentation design software
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organizational, data management and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to travel to various company NYC sites as needed.
