SUMMARY
The HR Generalist will provide full-spectrum, front-line human resources support and high touch customer service to field operations managers, associates, and stakeholders. The Generalist serves as a partner with and trusted advisor to the HRSC Senior Manager, HR Operations & HRIS, and operational leaders to ensure Towne Park’s human resources processes and systems are fully optimized to support the company’s human resources and operational strategies in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Descriptive Statement(s)
Provide Tier 2 (Medium Risk) HR support: Provides HR support by serving as escalation point for inbound inquiries received by the HR Support Center that cannot be resolved at Tier 1. HR Support may include:
Employment policies and employee relations questions, issues and concerns, employment policies and laws, and recommends course of action as appropriate.
Respond to general escalated inquiries and perform processes, such as those related to job changes, transfers, promotions and demotion and termination including final pay process.
Employee Relations: Assists in the research and resolution of Employee Relations issues either individually or in partnership with the appropriate Human Resources Business Partner to resolve more complex complaints or issues such as regarding attendance/scheduling concerns and workplace situations or issues.
Compliance & Audit:
Onboarding and Offboarding: Ensure onboarding compliance regarding required paperwork and acknowledgement forms along with I-9 Compliance (I-9 Dashboard). Workday Tasks: Enter and approve transactions in Workday, maintaining accurate Workday data entry and reporting, ensuring compliance with onboarding documentation, associate job changes, and final pay. Workday Reporting: Audit checks for data integrity and compliance standards
Unemployment: Submit or verify information relating to unemployment claims and provide requested supporting documentation. Review unemployment decisions and attend requested hearings.
Subpoenas: Respond, provide, and assist with documentation for subpoenas and various legal requests.
Ad-hoc projects: Provides suggestions for training materials, user guides, and FAQs that can be used by associates and managers to accomplish common tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business-related field with two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training.
Work Experience:
Two (2) to four (4) years of previous Human Resources experience with exposure to subject areas including HR Systems, Benefits, & Payroll.
Knowledge:
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with an ability to utilize advanced function of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
