Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director and Assistant Director, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing the pre-boarding and onboarding activities, compliance, and property-based initiatives related to the candidate lifecycle.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $19.60+ per hour depending on experience
Housing: Studio apartment offered at $267 per month
Schedule: May include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with property Directors and Managers, Talent Team, and Work & Travel/Intern representatives.
Serve as the department support administrator for all office correspondence, record retention, file management, and other administrative functions.
Act as a point person for candidate inquiries r elated to arrival to include initiating and responding to all communications (text, email, phone), face to face inquiries from current staff, visitors and applicants.
Manage the pre-boarding and onboarding stages of the candidate lifecycle to include initiation and tracking of documents. Adhere to recruiter Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Assist in the processing of internal property & other Xanterra transfer requests; assist current employees with online portal completion on property if computer assistance is needed. Refer to talent team as needed.
Administer the on-property process of the J-1 students including preparation & issuance of employment verification letters, reminder notices for students to check in with SEVIS and coordinate with the Housing Department to distribute to the employees, notify department managers of their upcoming departure dates
Assist walk-ins with the online application process and where appropriate create candidate profiles and attach them to requisition.
Provide comprehensive welcome and relevant information to all newly arriving staff including details (regarding pre-orientation in partnership with Learning and Development, wayfinding and ID cards, meals, direct deposit) and other items as needed.
Provide support for policies & procedures and initiatives as directed by the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources.
Create weekly reports related to job postings, expected arrivals and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Attend job fairs as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent in related work experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of HR Generalist experience; preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Experience with HRIS system(s) and software including but not limited to ICIMS, CloudSuite, and E-Verify preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects on time.
Ability to deal with complex and sensitive issues.
Ability to be culturally sensitive and navigate ambiguous situations.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
