Specialized Experience Requirement;
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level which include: 1. Experience managing the initiation, planning, execution, AND closeout of a project related to an engineering or construction effort. 2. Experience managing projects such as water resource projects and/or flood risk management projects. 3. Experience using project management business processes and tools, such as risk analysis and scheduling software.

Duties
- Applies an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of methods, practices and processes of engineering and science disciplines.
- Serves as Senior Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining the District corporate commitment to management plans.
- Participates in District programming decisions affecting long and short range courses of action for assigned projects.
- Provides input to the District operating budget related to projects assigned.
- Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from planning through studies and into construction and initial operations.
