Intern

Job Description Summary

The Intern will support the overall functions of the Communications and Public Affairs team in advancing and protecting the corporate brand as well as in supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives aimed to promote the company’s social impact and sustainability goals. The Intern will provide critical support in all areas of the team’s work, including project coordination, writing and reporting, administrative support, and other priority duties as required. The Intern will also provide focused support to the development and implementation of a strategic internal communications plan and related tools and systems.

Job Description

• Support the coordination and management of various projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against the company’s communications and social impact objectives.
• Support the development of key communications assets, including key messages, briefs, presentation decks, monitoring reports, press releases, and others.
• Support the planning and execution of key events including through collaboration with cross-functional teams, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and logistical support.
• Conduct research and analysis of industry best practices around internal communications, employee engagement, community engagement initiatives, and corporate brand promotion.
• Perform other duties as required to fulfill the team's overall objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in global citizenship and sustainability on a corporate level.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Presentation software and Canva. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community.

The anticipated compensation range is

18.00 - 30.00 USD Hourly

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
