INKWELL ENTERTAINMENT is a New York City-based, multi-service, boutique-style firm that specializes in artist management and development, consulting, brand development, brand partnerships, and music licensing. Our hands-on approach provides strategies designed for longevity, security, and success.


Marketing Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Intern in Social Media Marketing. The intern will assist in the execution of day-to-day social media and community management activities. The intern will specifically be responsible for planning content, creating social media posts, tracking engagement, conducting competitive research, analyzing metrics, and implementing SEO tactics across various social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement and following. You will work as a social media intern for INKWELL Entertainment and SYNCWELL Licensing. We are looking for someone to have previous experience running social media and doing creative marketing. If you are highly creative, you can use those skills because we want to collaborate and build with you. You will create the vibe for our social media platforms. We are looking for people who love creating compelling content and have a ton of good ideas. We are a tight-knit team, all about good energy and working together to build and reach our targets. Sync Licensing Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Intern - Sync & Licensing. You will work as an intern for our company's sync placement and licensing arm. If you have previous experience in sync, that is great. If not, we are happy to train the right people. We are a tight-knit team, all about good energy and working together to build and reach our targets. For this internship, you will work 100% remotely. So feel free to apply from anywhere in the United States. We seek intelligent, down-to-earth, hardworking, and self-sufficient candidates who can keep up in a fast-paced environment. You will be pitching our clients to music supervisors and music departments.

Marketing Duties Include:

- Running our social media platforms

- Creating content for socials (static & video posts)

- Editing videos & content

- Writing compelling captions

- Being up to date on social media trends

- Actively interacting with comments and responding to DMs

- Finding influencers and other like-minded companies we can partner with

- Bring your ideas to the table we want this to be a partnership


Sync Licensing Duties Include:

- Administrative work

- Pitching the right music and clients to music supervisors and music departments

- You will be writing/sending lots of emails

- Google Sheets will be used to keep track of contacts

- Disco will be used to keep tracks organized

- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace is helpful

- Updating and keeping metadata organized

- Bring your ideas to the table about new clients and music that we should be pitching


Qualifications Marketing

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field
  • Samples of your previous work will be required to apply.
  • Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Creative Suite such as Canva for design and content creation
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to support a team in creative ideation and contribute to team brainstorms
  • Passion for the entertainment industry

  • Licensing and Analytical Skills
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Research skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in the music industry and sync licensing
