IT Systems Manager

  • Managing IT budget for systems and prioritizing funds based on primary department goals
  • Monitoring the productivity and performance levels of IT employees and conducting performance reviews
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with other department heads to determine their technology needs
  • Delegating repair and installation requests to the Junior System Administrator
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders including department heads and leadership team
  • Creating and monitoring long-term schedules to determine when to update company computer systems and cybersecurity measures
  • Researching new business technologies and IT software to strengthen the organization's computer systems
  • Creating surveys to gauge company employee IT needs and questions
  • Drafting informational documents to help company employees troubleshoot standard computer problems and navigate new programs
  • Assisting IT employees with complex installations or repairs
  • Implementing new software programs and computer technologies that support organizational goals and objectives
  • Mentor and coach new team members and junior level staff
  • Provide emergency or critical maintenance completed within approved time period
  • Recognize opportunities to improve process efficiencies and implement them in a cost-effective manner

  • Project management spanning multiple offices/locations at the same time
  • Ability to manager Microsoft Windows Servers, Firewalls, and other network equipment
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft AD and other critical server roles in an enterprise
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure AD and migration from on-premises to cloud-based AD
  • Experience with Microsoft InTune and configuration of cellphones and workstations
  • Experience with large scale deployment of workstations (imaging)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an IT field
  • Tech certifications such as: CompTIA (A+, Net+, Sec+), Microsoft certified sys admin, ITIL
  • 3-5 years professional experience
