Position Summary: The Junior Video/Motion Graphics Editor at the DCCC will create videos for the committee’s organic, paid and digital fundraising programs. This position is part of the Creative Team which is situated within the Communications Department and will assist with the committee’s multi-channel digital content strategy. Top applicants will be very familiar with video and motion graphics software, and fired-up about helping Democrats take back the House.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities Include

  • Work with the Senior Video Editor and graphic designers to create assets for YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and the committee's paid digital programs, including mobile and out-of-home advertising.
  • Contribute to all stages of creative production – from brainstorming to execution and delivery.
  • Meticulously manage and organize footage, assets, and project files.
  • Search and acquire appropriate assets for video ads.
  • Help to develop unique and new concepts to reach our target audiences.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in all facets of video production, including filming and editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro & After Effects.
  • Motion graphic design experience strongly preferred.
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
  • The ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with others.
  • A strong interest in Democratic political issues and a commitment to helping Democrats take back the House in 2024.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives.
