Your role at Clorox:


The Laboratory Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the laboratory. This includes coordinating daily operations, maintaining laboratory records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to laboratory staff.


In this role, you will:


  • Oversee daily administrative operations of the laboratory.
  • Provide administrative support to laboratory staff as needed.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new laboratory personnel.
  • Monitor and manage laboratory supplies and inventory.
  • Place orders for necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and renew all annual contracts with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with all laboratory equipment calibration and repairs.
  • Serve as the custodian for all Method Validations Data Binders or disk data.
  • Support the Laboratory Manager in revising the annual budget.
  • Provide the Laboratory Manager with an explanation of the monthly variance.
  • Coordinate with the laboratory and the external subcontractor for laboratory file storage boxes.
  • Coordinate chemistry waste management pick-up.
  • Interface with FDA and other government officials during plant audits as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Assist the Manager, Quality Control & Director of Quality in other areas as instructed

What we look for:

  • College degree required or 2+ years of work experience in Quality Control environment, should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.
  • Preferred Experience: SAP System knowledge, experience in an nutraceutical or food FDA regulated industry, ASQ certification

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $22.12 - $37.16

–Zone B: $20.29 - $34.09

–Zone C: $18.41 - $30.96

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
