We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Manager to join our team in California. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the loan origination process. This position offers competitive salary plus commissions based on production, along with provided leads. Candidates must hold a CA DRE Real Estate License and NMLS certification, and be proficient in CRM usage.
Responsibilities
Review and assess loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct credit analysis and risk assessments.
Collaborate with underwriters to ensure loans meet guidelines.
Manage the entire loan origination process from application to closing.
Monitor escrow accounts to facilitate timely disbursements.
Maintain current knowledge of FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and other applicable laws.
Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and internal teams throughout the loan process.
Ensure all loan documentation is precise and complete.
Skills
Strong proficiency in underwriting principles and practices.
Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and escrow procedures.
Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
Thorough understanding of TILA regulations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of loan origination software preferred.
Excellent contract management skills.
Expertise in credit analysis.
Qualifications
CA DRE Real Estate License and NMLS certification required.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
