Responsibilities

• Is responsbile for assisting the Production Supervisor in the overall operations of an assigned shift.
• Must coordinate with Supervisor to plan and prioritize work to meet daily time-critical requirements.
• Coordinate proper training of subordinates and assist in assiging work for an efficient and effective work flow.
• Assist in planning, prioritizing, and manging daily departmental operations.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential applicants.
• Contribute to the review process in employee performance appraisals.
• As necessary, assist in corrective action and termination of employees with approriate approval.
• Maintain effective coomunication with all departments staff and upper management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Implement and support ISO 9000 specifications and requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise in a production environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in order to make sound business decisions in a high-paced environment.
• Requires problem solving and listening skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions standarddization exists.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
