The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global eCommerce Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, International eCommerce Content reporting to the Director, eCommerce Content.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

Position Summary

The International eCommerce Manager is a talented digital marketer with demonstrated experience in multi-regional web content strategy, and ecommerce promotions, merchandising, and conversion optimization.

The Manager will collaboratively lead strategic planning and creation of high caliber, best in class website content for international markets. This individual will interact with stakeholders across the brand, such as product, brand and revenue managers, content creators, designers, and developers while leading a team to ensure all international content, promotions and merchandising are current, accurate, compelling, and optimized for the Celebrity Cruises consumer website in each represented market.

The International eCommerce Manager should be passionate about creating the optimal user experience through best-in-class content and data-informed decision making with the goal of maximizing ecommerce revenue and improving customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the international Web content, promotions and merchandising strategy and roadmap to improve e-commerce performance and successfully support brand initiatives
  • Manage international markets’ Web content and serve as strategic lead for all international ecommerce marketing
  • Own day-to-day operations for international Web Go-to-Market campaign launches
  • Plan and execute international ecommerce promotions and merchandising campaigns
  • Develop strategic ideas and tactical execution plans for market specific content personalization; Run personalization campaigns through Adobe Target with segmented audience targeting
  • Work closely with the BI & Analytics team to monitor and report on international ecommerce performance
  • Proactively recommend and optimize content and merchandising based on Web analytics, user behaviors and ecommerce performance
  • Coordinates international ecommerce efforts with internal and external stakeholders, including omni-channel experiences
  • Document all international Website issues, defects and enhancement opportunities and lead through resolution; troubleshoot and escalate as needed
  • Manage, update, and maintain the website’s international content in collaboration with marketing, sales call center, revenue management, ecommerce and IT teams
  • Ensure all international content update requests are fielded, organized, prioritized, assigned, implemented, reviewed, approved and published according to deadlines and guidelines; and periodically build new pages, modify templates, and procure and edit assets
  • Lead, mentor and develop onshore and offshore international ecommerce team members
  • Upkeep detailed project trackers to relay the content and optimizations pipeline status
  • Perform various content audits to identify gaps, new opportunities, and areas for improvement; leverage internal resources to create content or repurpose existing content to meet international user needs
  • Support Global Web Product Team to ensure the content tasks of new features and enhancements can be met, have the appropriate content requirements, and are done so correctly and on time
  • Manage all Web content translation operations for respective markets, including distributing translated content to stakeholders and working with both internal and external vendors to fulfill translation objectives and goals
  • Remain informed of international competitor online efforts and position Celebrity Cruises to continue to lead in the space.
  • Continuously evolve international ecommerce processes and improve workflows

Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study
  • 7+ years overseeing web content strategies, managing websites, conversion optimization and or content management
  • 4+ years of managing and leading a team of 2 or more direct reports
  • 3+ years working in a content management system (AEM preferred)
  • 3+ years working in a project management system (JIRA preferred)
  • 2+ years of working with content personalization and dynamic audience targeting (Adobe Target preferred)
  • Experience analyzing web analytics and converting data into actional content recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company, including Senior Leadership
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to set goals and prioritize initiatives with minimal guidance
  • Team player, able to multitask and handle multiple simultaneous projects, self-motivated and proactive, displaying composure under stress
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEO and UX/UI best practices
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Familiar with agile process and digital product development
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, thrive in ambiguity and adapt to rapid changes
