The Manager of Business Systems leads a team of staff responsible for developing system requirements, testing modifications and improvements, triaging service desk incidents, and defining solutions. The manager allocates resources to projects and production support, oversees individual employee performance regarding project delivery to ensure on time support, high quality, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. The MBS collaborates with IT, Finance, HR, and vendors to establish project priorities and allocate resources and provides regular status updates to management and project stakeholders as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison between HR, Finance and IT to maintain strong, collaborative relationships between departments
Facilitates the delivery of solutions to address strategic and tactical initiatives which will ultimately drive business value and customer satisfaction
Improves business performance by enhancing the alignment between business process and IT, building and sustaining a process-managed IT organization
Strives to make the IT organization a valued service provider by enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of information technology
Facilitates incidents and change management communication through the service desk
Enforces process-related policies, standards, governance and methodologies to enable the business to seamlessly adopt a process culture
Provides strategic support and guidance through IT projects, systems conversions, and enterprise change initiatives
Understands, defines, and contributes to a long-term business system strategy that will be aligned with the overall corporate strategy
Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements
Supports business performance and incentive metrics to ensure that continuous, sustained improvements take place across the organization
Partner with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities
Develop a deep knowledge of the business partner's business unit and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically
Responsible for effective staff management, coordination, prioritization of projects, and task completion

Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to work with people of various backgrounds and all levels of technical knowledge.
Ability to understand the user's journey and provide solutions and recommendations to build on continuous improvement
Experience in designing, modifying, and creating business processes that will be used to implement technology solutions and roadmaps
3+ years of administrator or superuser role in financial and HR systems
3+ years of experience with direct staff experience
May require travel both inside and outside of state
May require occasional weekend or evening travel
Must live in South Florida and be in office 2-3 days a week to support HR and Finance

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.
FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
EVALUATION
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Charter Schools USA's policy.
