Mechanical Designer / Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer / Drafter to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working drawings of machinery parts and assemblies as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams and detail drawings for mechanical components and assemblies
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues in preparing manuals and instructions
• Additional responsibilities with experince and as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Familiarity with Solidworks Design Software other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Repairs – With an 18,000 square foot repair facility in Blue Island Illinois we are able to perform miraculous repairs from the smallest component to even the largest, seemingly “hopeless case” damaged pump. In fact, most customers acknowledge that our repairs exceed the quality they receive from OEM repair shops.
