Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Paralegal with a strong background in Family Law or Employment Law to join the legal team. This role is 100% Remote in California.

Job Title: Family Law Paralegal/ Employment Law Paralegal

Location: Remote (California)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing family law or employment law cases from inception to resolution.
• Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
• Perform legal research to support case strategies, including identifying relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local rules.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
• Experience as a paralegal, with significant experience in family law or employment law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
