Power BI Developer/Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PowerBI Analyst/Developer with a specialization in integrating PowerBI with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) to join our team. In this role, you will create PowerBI report and analytics for our business teams, with a focus on D365 FO integration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to continuous process and architecture improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI tools, incorporating various visualizations, filters, and slicers to provide insights into the data.
• Designing and implementing efficient data models in Power BI, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams, cross-functional teams, developers, and third-party vendors to design and build Power BI reports for use by the business.
• Contribute to discussions on system improvement and enhancement within the PowerBI-D365 FO integration architecture.
• Monitor the performance of PowerBI reports and dashboards to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to internal users of the PowerBI reporting and analytics platform
• Analyze and diagnose reported issues related to D365 FO data integration, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Staying updated with the latest features and best practices in Power BI development, and continuously improving existing reports and data models to meet evolving business needs and requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in providing technical support for PowerBI or similar business intelligence reporting platforms
• Strong understanding of the architecture and data structure of D365 FO and its integration capabilities with PowerBI.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex data and reporting issues within the PowerBI-D365 FO integration context.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams.
• Certifications in PowerBI or related Microsoft BI technologies are a plus.
