See who Safe Families for Children, Greater Portland has hired for this role
We are looking for a full-time leader supporting volunteers and families in Multnomah County. In 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General announced “our epidemic of loneliness and isolation.” We believe the church has been given the call to “love the stranger” and be the response to this epidemic. This role will be recruiting, assessing, training, and matching volunteers with families in their community who are isolated, and need support. They will be helping bridge the connection between volunteers and their ongoing relationship with the parent. Spanish language proficiency is strongly desired. A master’s level of education in Social Work, Psychology, or other related fields or 5+ years of experience working with families in crisis is required. Please email Micah at micah@safefamiliespdx.org for the full job description.
*Applicant does not need to live in Multnomah County to be considered.
