Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our healthcare provider organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects focusing on infrastructure, IT Service Management (ITSM), hardware, Electronic Health Records (EHR), cloud computing, and cybersecurity. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate between multiple teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of projects that enhance our IT capabilities and support our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation to closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Infrastructure and ITSM:

  • Oversee projects related to IT infrastructure enhancements, including network upgrades, server installations, and data center management.
  • Implement and manage IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to improve IT operations and service delivery.

Hardware and EHR:

  • Manage the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software assets.
  • Lead projects related to the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Cloud and Cybersecurity:

  • Plan and execute cloud migration and integration projects to enhance scalability, efficiency, and security.
  • Implement and oversee cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational goals.
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts, manage deliverables, and ensure service quality.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in healthcare IT.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of managing complex IT projects, including infrastructure, ITSM, hardware, EHR, cloud, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and data security requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday, ServiceNow).
