Job Description

The Global PMO Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting project and program management for the integrated Global People Modernization program, ensuring orderly and timely project execution and delivery.Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assist with the development of integrated project/work plans, manage interdependencies, coordinate resources and meetings, tracking and reporting, and supporting PMO processes.

Reporting to the Global PMO Lead, the PMO Supervisor will collaborate closely with the 3rd party vendor PMO team, ensuring effective administration and operation within various project management areas. The role is essential in tracking and completing key project activities, driving the successful execution of the Global People Modernization program.

The PMO Supervisor supports the Global People Modernization program, ensuring timely and orderly project execution and delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Global PMO Lead to develop program strategies, approaches, workstreams, and overall structure and timelines for key initiatives.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and report risks and issues, engaging the appropriate parties to mitigate and resolve them.
  • Governance and Forums: Support program governance and project status forums by managing logistics and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of actions and decisions.
  • Dependency Monitoring: Actively monitor cross-workstream and program-wide dependencies.
  • Methodology Implementation: Assist in implementing and reinforcing project management methodologies, including change control, performance management, risk and issue management, and adherence to PMO standards, processes, and tools.
  • Workplan Management: Provide support for project workplan management, tracking plans, staffing, quality standards, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and monitor project metrics and prepare reports.
  • Coordination: Engage with key cross-workstream internal partners to streamline interactions and maintain visibility on dependencies critical for success.
  • Communication Materials: Develop program-related communication materials, including leadership updates, key announcements, and onboarding/offboarding materials.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-4 years of program and project management experience, supporting large-scale, global integrated transformation programs.
  • Project Management Processes: Proven expertise in developing and managing project management processes, including multi-team project plans, risk and issue logs, change control processes, status reporting, and resource management.
  • Project Management Tools: Extensive experience with project management tools (both waterfall and agile methodologies) to effectively implement and reinforce project management methodologies.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations, recognizing dependencies to assess potential partnerships and program commitment.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop cooperative relationships, achieving results through win-win scenarios.
  • Communication: Excellent professional communication skills, capable of engaging with senior managers and executives, using appropriate detail, terminology, and style.
  • Influence and Decision Making: Effective at using influence to drive decision-making and resolve issues.
  • Certification: PMP Certification or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
