Our client is a full-service marketing and communications agency based in Rhode Island. As the team expands, we are seeking a PR Account Executive with a proven track record of managing client accounts, crafting compelling narratives, and securing media coverage to join their team.


You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing PR strategies that enhance their clients' reputations and drive their business objectives. If you are passionate about mission-driven client work in nonprofit, healthcare, and higher ed, we'd love to speak with you.


*Note: The role is hybrid, with the team typically in the Providence, RI office 2-3 days a week as needed.


The Role:


  • Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring the successful implementation of PR strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact.
  • Craft press releases, pitches, and other PR materials that resonate with media and target audiences.
  • Secure media coverage in top-tier and trade publications, broadcast outlets, and digital platforms.
  • Monitor media trends, analyze coverage, and provide clients with regular updates and reports.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content for various channels, including social media.
  • Plan and execute events, press conferences, and media tours as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve PR strategies.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver successful PR campaigns.
  • Familiarity with AP Style and other writing guidelines.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital PR tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
