We are looking for a skilled and experienced Public Relations (PR) Consultant to join our team full-time. As a PR Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic PR campaigns to enhance our company’s reputation, promote positive public perception, and support our business objectives. You will leverage your expertise in media relations, communication strategies, and crisis management to effectively manage our brand's image and communication efforts.
Roles And Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns that align with organizational goals and objectives. Define key messages, target audiences, and media channels.
Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch stories, press releases, and media opportunities to secure coverage in print, broadcast, and digital media.
Content Creation: Write compelling press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content materials. Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with brand messaging and positioning.
Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate reputational risks. Provide timely responses and proactive communication during crises or sensitive situations.
Event Management: Plan and coordinate press conferences, media events, product launches, and promotional activities. Manage logistics, media invitations, and onsite media relations.
Digital PR: Leverage digital platforms and social media channels for PR purposes, including managing online reputation, influencer partnerships, and digital campaigns.
Brand Management: Monitor media coverage and online conversations related to the brand. Implement strategies to enhance brand reputation and address any negative perceptions effectively.
Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment between external PR efforts and internal communications strategies.
Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze PR campaign performance metrics (e.g., media impressions, sentiment analysis, engagement metrics). Prepare regular reports and insights for stakeholders.
Client Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic PR counsel, campaign updates, and performance evaluations. Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
