Evaluates all raw materials per specifications. Compares COA results to specification.
Maintains accurate records of all test results and generates certificates of analysis per customer request.
Coordinates equipment sanitation and swab testing on production equipment.
Routinely conducts in-house QA audits.
Participates in various special projects as instructed by Supervisor.
Conducts daily scale and metal detector checks of the packing room equipment.
Conducts routine equipment calibrations.
Evaluates production lines for all QA procedures and specification requirements.
Ensure control of Allergens and compliance with Allergen Control Program.
Ensure Organic segregation and compliance with Organic System Plan.
Audits and assures employee compliance to GMP guidelines.
Investigates customer complaints against retained samples.
Audits sanitation of blending and production equipment.
Routine Sensory Analysis of ingredients and Products.
Report raw material and product quality issues and work to resolve issue and implement corrective action.
Perform ongoing shipping and receiving procedures for quality and food safety inspections.
